2009 Klipsun Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Planted in 1982 in the heart of the Red Mountain AVA, Wine & Spirits Magazine placed Klipsun Vineyard on their list of the Top 25 Vineyards in the World.  The warm 2009 Vintage showcases the ripe, polished structure of the region.  With 2 years in French Oak, followed by more than a decade in bottle this wine epitomizes why Cabernet Sauvignon is the favorite varietal for long term aging. A beautifully rusty color and fine-grained soft tannins envelope tasty notes of cedar, chocolate, dried leaves, dark fruit and gravel.  Enjoy this limited library release while it lasts!
